Always grateful for seasonal changes and the opportunities to handle different produce throughout the year 😌

We made lots of new recipes this year. It felt good to share some things we have been working on. Pepper Sauce, Spicy Pickled Eggplant, Natural Brine Pickles. And we still have a few tricks and treats coming.
.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming as our backordered jars arrived late last week. Finally we can restock Red Pepper Jelly! Blueberry Gin Jam! Whiskey Orange Marmalade! Maraschino Cherries!
.
It's a bit quiet on here as we prep the new ✨retail space✨ and work through the available fall produce. And we prepare for one more bonus outdoor event!

My favourite bakery emailed me yesterday to say that we've been doing business together for 8 years. Today I sleepily pulled this @breadbyus shirt on, and when I went to the staff bathroom to put my hair up I felt all warm and fuzzy when I saw what I was wearing.

Charcoal grilled tomatillos are simmered with jalapeños, garlic, onion, cilantro and apple cider vinegar, then blended and bottled. Locally sourced salsa 🪄

Well, here we go 🙃 Our 190 mL jars are on backorder from our glass supplier. Not being able to source them will make things tricky. Covid sure cranks up the difficulty setting!

Luckily we are small and can pivot. It's a relief that we are nimble enough to modify our production mid-season. Our stockists and customers are understanding of the extra challenges posed by pandemic supply chain issues. No doubt they are dealing with their own supply related setbacks.
.
We have lots of great jam, pickles, marmalade and more in store. Bear with us while we shuffle our plans during this busy harvest season!
